Biography
Prof. Nita Inderlal Sukdeo is an expert in Quality and Operations Management, specializing in total quality management, advanced manufacturing, and AI-driven industry solutions. An Associate Professor at the University of Johannesburg, she holds a PhD in Engineering Management and is pursuing a second PhD in Quality Engineering. A certified Lead Auditor, she is deeply involved in ISO standards and risk assessment. As co-chair of the Society for Operations Management in Africa and chair of WiEBE, she champions women in STEM. At the WLHE Summit 2025, she will provide insights on quality leadership, industry innovation, and gender equity in engineering.
