Connect on LinkedInDr Jabulile is an active contributor and thought leader on topics that relate to business and executive coaching, entrepreneurial coaching, and enterprise development. Jabulile is an award-winning author, entrepreneur, business and executive coach, case writer, and mentor. She published her first book, Dear Mr Entrepreneurship: A Conversation between Ms. Entrepreneur and Mr. Entrepreneurship in 2022 and recently co-authored the second volume of Dear Mr Entrepreneurship: Journeys of Women Entrepreneurs with 13 aspiring and emerging businesswomen leaders. Through speaking engagements, media interviews, masterclass sessions, and thought leadership contributions, DrJ continues to inspire others to venture into greatness. When it comes to DrJ, her “teachings are made up of lifelong experiences that open us up to the world”. Her reputation precedes her as a known teacher, mentor, and a coach who prioritizes holistic growth and personal mastery as a key ingredient to personal and professional development.
DrJ is the Managing Director of DrJ Business Support and co-founder of the non-profit think tank African Institute for Entrepreneurship (AIfE). She has more than 20 years of working experience, including more than 10 years spent in the entrepreneurship space mentoring and coaching entrepreneurs who are creating paradigm shifts within their industries. She is currently a senior lecturer in entrepreneurship and program director of the Master of Management – Business and Executive Coaching at the Wits Business School. She is also responsible for the school’s MBA Personal and Leadership Coaching program. Throughout her academic tenure, she has served on various institutional committees, contributed to technical reports for corporate, civil society, and government entities and excelled in academic citizenship beyond the Wits student and alumni community. Her passion for teaching and postgraduate supervision continues to inspire greatness. As a testament to her collegiate leadership, she was inducted as a 2023 Honorary Member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. Previously, she worked in corporate South Africa and amassed a wealth of experience including, but not limited to, statistical analysis, risk analysis, trading, and management consulting. She supports entrepreneurs, professionals and executives who believe in continuous development and has created a platform that allows her to connect with entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs to help them identify their inner strengths and capabilities. DrJ is a qualified statistician, facilitator, public speaker, and researcher. She holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship (Wits Business School) and an MSc in Mathematical Statistics – Risk analysis (University of the Free State). She also holds a certificate in Effective Mentoring and Coaching (Wits Business School) and is currently studying towards her masters, researching the role of coaching in the development of black women entrepreneurs in South Africa.
